Our Story
A Connected Response.
KC Community Development (KCCD) was formed in 2024 after community and faith leaders across Buffalo and Niagara Falls recognized the need for a more connected approach to addressing long-standing challenges in housing, education, healthcare, and employment.
As local needs continued to grow, these leaders began collaborating in 2023 to find ways to better align efforts, share resources, and support families more effectively. Their shared commitment to the well-being of Western New York’s neighborhoods led to the creation of KCCD—an organization focused on long-term solutions rather than short-term responses.
Guided by values of service, collaboration, and community strengthening, KCCD works alongside churches, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies to drive measurable, long-term impact. Our work is grounded in accountable leadership and strong partnerships, with a focus on strengthening families, helping neighborhoods thrive, and supporting sustainable development that reflects the dignity, resilience, and potential of the communities we serve across Buffalo Niagara.
